Mullaq

About the Project

Al Hadeetha Resources LLC (AHRL) has initiated a strategic exploration program for the Mullaq Copper-Gold Project, a promising greenfield prospect spanning approximately 41 km² within the Block 22B Exploration & Mining Concession. The project is located in the Oman Mountains, around 160 km southeast of Muscat, within the Samail Ophiolite Complex — a geologically significant zone known for copper-bearing layered gabbro formations.

Historical Exploration

Exploration activity in Mullaq dates back to the late 1970s, with:

  1. 516 meters of diamond drilling across 5 boreholes, conducted in 1976–1977, reporting an estimated 387,000 tonnes at 2.9% Cu (non-JORC compliant).
  2. In 2012, an additional 922 meters of drilling across 9 boreholes further confirmed the area’s mineralization potential.
  3. Previous magnetic (Mag) and induced polarization (IP) surveys have also identified multiple geophysically anomalous zones, many of which remain underexplored.

Planned Exploration Program

AHRL has outlined a phased exploration strategy over the next two years, aimed at systematically advancing the Mullaq Project:

  1. Remote Sensing & GIS Analysis
Initial terrain and structural assessment using satellite data and spatial analysis.
  2. Airborne and Ground Geophysical Surveys
To detect magnetic and electrical properties of subsurface anomalies and refine exploration targets.
  3. Geological Mapping & Geochemical Sampling
On-the-ground structural mapping and surface sampling to evaluate mineral signatures.
  4. Initial Test Diamond Drilling
Targeted drilling will be carried out to test the most promising anomalies.
  5. Extended Drilling Campaign (Contingent on Results)
A broader drilling program will be developed if initial results confirm economically viable mineralization.

This initiative underscores AHRL’s commitment to unlocking the untapped mineral potential of Mullaq through a systematic, data-driven, and environmentally responsible exploration approach.
